Watercolor Thoughts
[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. [6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
(I tried a different technique and used some digital watercolor brushes this time.)

Stained Glass
I've always loved stained glass windows. They can be so intricate and often the large ones tell a story. They are the most beautiful when the light shines through them, though. Additionally, prayer doesn't have to be fancy words, but it should be genuine. I think it's easy to get caught up in the fear of doing it "right" when it really isn't complicated.
[14] “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. [15] No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. [16] In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Matthew 5:14-16 NLT

Rain
I've always loved the rain despite its negative connotation. Recently, I've been in a season where I have been learning to trust God will work everything out, even if it is not how I expect it. I drew this to show that even though life can be hard, we can choose to be content in our circumstances. God allows us to experience pain and doesn't want that for us, but He also gives it a meaning and a purpose when it does happen. Storms will always come, so we need to have our foundation secure in Jesus so that we can stand firm and rebuild when the storm passes.
[3] To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.

Sun
I believe God will always lead us into what He has planned, it just takes a little faith and a lot of failing. Lately, I've been trying to remind myself that it's still okay even if things don't end up how I expected or wanted them to go. I think most of us have an idea in our head about how we want our life to be. Even though it never seems to work out how we planned, there is still a lot to be thankful for and a lot we can look forward to!
[15] I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”
Mark 10:15 NLT
[17] This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
